Alpenglow Music Academy was founded with a simple belief: music is meant to be shared.

As a teacher, I saw two challenges again and again. First, great teachers were always full, their schedules packed, their waiting lists long, leaving many eager students without access to quality instruction. And second, even among the most talented students, fear of performance was almost universal. They could play beautifully alone in a practice room, but the joy of sharing their music often stopped at the door.

At Alpenglow, we believe music should never feel isolating. It is a social art form, one meant to be experienced, played, and celebrated together. That is why we created a model built on performance-based, social learning, where students grow not just in skill, but in confidence and community.

Our small, classroom-based programs help young musicians learn from one another, perform regularly, and develop the courage to express themselves openly. We focus especially on the foundational years, those first few steps with an instrument, when the right environment can ignite a lifelong love of music.

Today, Alpenglow operates out of community centers in Highlands Ranch and Parker, offering beginner programs in piano and violin. In the coming years, we are expanding to include new instruments, new teachers, and our own dedicated studio space, continuing our mission to make music learning connected, joyful, and alive.
